Trick-or-Treating Accessories for Fun and Safety

Posted by Wendy Moyle on September 20, 2008

Remember trick-or-treating accessories when you stock up for this Halloween. Accessories such as treat bags and glow in the dark items are small essentials to make your Halloween as smooth as possible.

Sure, an old pillowcase is good enough, but for something a bit more fun, choose a treat bag to take trick or treating. Witches and other spooky costumes will be complete with an 8” plastic cauldron. For other costumes, try a bat felt bag or an adorable candy corn felt bag.

Jack O’Lanterns are a Halloween essential. Add some extra fright to the trick-or-treaters night with Jack O’Lantern glow sticks. Your pumpkin will have an eerie green glow!

Glow accessories are great for keeping trick-or-treaters safe. Have your little ones put on glowing trick-or-treat badges to make them more visable to cars. Other options are glow necklaces, monster glow costume lights, or fiber optic wands (especially for fairy or wizard costumes).

Make trick-or-treating extra spooky with a creepy Zombie Candy Grabber. The cardboard zombie has a pocket for candy that looks like trick-or-treaters have to reach into his stomach. The freestanding decoration is 5’1” h x 2’5” wide and is great for use year after year.

Halloween party favors are great for giving out at trick-or-treat time too. Instead of candy give out squishy skull pens, spider yo-yo balls, witch finger pens, flashing rings, or bat backpack clips. Kids will love these treats!
